Approach

Photography found me in 2014. A friend asked me to help shoot an engagement session and I left it completely lit up by what it meant to document people during the most alive season of their lives. Within two years I had built a business, moved cities and was travelling to photograph weddings.

By 2018 that pace had caught up with me. I burned out, became a father, and spent a long stretch doing the quieter work of figuring out who I was underneath all the achievement. That season changed my life and it changed my work: when I show up as myself, people open up, and the walls come down without anyone forcing it.

So I go a little deeper before we ever pick up a camera — your story, how you two actually are with each other, the kind of energy you want the day to hold. I am not trying to make you look like models, and I am not trying to make your wedding look trendy. I want you to look like yourselves: confident, present, and properly in it.
